Mineral Processing Plant - Copper , Lead and Zinc ( 2024)
Mt Isa Mines, QLD - Processing Plant Structural Projects - Initiate design and remediation project works to various steel and concrete structures at the lead smelter, and Zinc-Lead Concentrator. Lead multi-disciplinary team with primary focus on civil, structural, and mechanical aspects. Dencon take initiatives and responsibilities in conducting structure integrity assessment, steering opportunities into high-value projects, reviewing engineering designs, and enforcing adherence to industry codes and best practices, ensuring seamless project execution within defined timelines and standards.
Sun Metals Refinery Expansion Project (2022)
Townsville, QLD - Spearheaded the Sun Metals Refinery Expansion Project, managing design, construction, and commissioning integral to programming management, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and full lifecycle project management. Dencon directed full building design compliance to NCC - DTS and implemented changes encompassing structural platforms, travel paths and walkways, fire systems and services (wet & dry), and equipment thermal insulations.
Townsville Charters Towers Road Water Supply and Pipelines Upgrade (2021)
Townsville, QLD - Around 12 km distance of water pipeline upgrade including four areas of HDD projects were Dencon played as Principal Engineer and Project Manager, provided design engineering guidance, developed construction methodologies, and delivery strategies.
Cosgrove Bohle Plains - Wastewater Pipeline Upgrade (2021)
Townsville, QLD - A Sewer pressure main wastewater pipeline upgrade headed by Dencon as Principal Engineer and Project Manager. There are three sections around 580m total linear distance were upgraded. The project also include relining of existing critical pipelines.
Mackay Water Mains Upgrade (2021)
Ring Road and Bruce Hi-way, QLD - This is the Seaforth Trunk Watermain Relocation project in Mackay where Dencon led HDD work, design and construction of water mains, valve chambers, and micro-tunnelling works.
ReefHQ Building Upgrade (2020)
ReefHQ Townsville - This is a facelift project of a 33-year-old building to be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Dencon work through the formulation of the scope of works of the whole project encompassing building structure integrity assessment, demolition works, tender evaluation, collaboration with General Contractor, and secured project budget from engineering feasibility and business opportunity study that defined a comprehensive work scope for the Principal Project Requirements (PPR).
Gladstone Sewage Treatment Plant & Biosolids Upgrade (2018)
Gladstone, QLD
Dencon managed the engineering design and construction of wastewater treatment plants and biosolids upgrades, managing contracts, risks, and budgets. Took leadership and ensured successful completion of major capital works projects while maintaining stringent compliance with quality standards.
Power Generation Mt Isa Mines Smelter Upgrade (2017)
Mt Isa, QLD - Dencon directed the end-to-end execution of power generation projects, i.e. 16 x 1.5MW Diesel Power Generators installed and commissioned. Managed procurement and system design including operational control and automation. Collaborated with stakeholders to maintain adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines while delivering reliable and efficient systems.
Industrial Building Construction and Dewatering Filter Plant (2012)
Ramu-Nico, Papua New Guinea - A Dewatering Plant project - construction of new building, installation of equipment, pumping system and ancillaries. The 2- PF 144 vertical filter press were installed and commissioned.
